only a boat or helicopter ride away

We are situated in Wilson Bay, one of the many sheltered bays of Te Hoiere/Pelorus Sound. Wilson Bay is halfway between Havelock (at the head of the Sound) and the open sea of the Cook Strait.  We are lucky enough to be in most picturesque area of all the Marlborough Sounds. These world-famous sounds are located right at the top of Te Wai Pounamu/The South Island.

Travel by road to Havelock, a charming tourist village on State Highway 6 between Blenheim and Nelson. Meet up with your chosen water transport at Havelock’s marina port and cruise the rest of the way to Wilson Bay and Te Rawa.

Most visitors to Te Rawa come via Nelson, Picton or Blenheim, all less than an hour’s drive from Havelock.
