TE RAWA is not a crowded tourist resort - but there's plenty to do in the Marlborough sun and sea.

Discover this Pelorus paradise for yourself. Just chill out and relax, stroll around the shoreline at low tide or walk the hills to neighbouring bays through forests of native bush. We also can arrange for a walk over the neighbouring farm hills for breath- taking views of the Outer Sounds, Maud Island wildlife sanctuary and the distant open sea.

See and hear the abundant birdlife in the bush - tuis, bellbirds, fantails and pigeons. Watch the ever restless seabirds on their fishing expeditions - gannets, shags, penguins, terns and the ever-present seagulls.

You might as well challenge the feathered experts with your own fishing skills. Catch your dinner from the wharf or dangle a line from the hire dinghy.

You may even come across some dolphins. Sorry,they are not very reliable, but once they come visiting they come in large numbers.

TE RAWA is close to all the good fishing spots. Blue cod abound, with snapper, kahawai, terakahi and the odd kingfish during the summer months.They're all out there waiting for you..

Charterboats are available for more serious fishing. Or you can combine a scenic Sounds cruise with a guided tour of a mussel farm and a sumptious seafood dinner
